Debt advice...

In today's economy more and more people become victims of a system that allowed them to live maybe more comfortably than what they could really afford. Indeed, the creditors, basically financial institutions, need to improve their incoming cash flow and therefore have no mercy for the debtors.
For people who have tried everything to repay their debt it become impossible to live and their last resort would be to file for bankruptcy, but everybody should do as much as they could to Avoid Bankruptcy. The Clear Debt is there to assist persons in difficulty by first analyzing your financial situation including your income, assets and savings. The website offers miscellaneous tests and useful advices to get someone out of this infernal situation. Of course they will provide personalized consultations and will walk you through the different options that are at your disposition to avoid bankruptcy. If you have already clicked on one of the links above I'm sure you noticed that it is a British website but still is very helpful; I think that being in debt is the same thing anywhere on the planet, maybe the regulations change but owing money is something as old as the world.
Maybe you won't feel concern by this but I think it is good to know what bankruptcy is and what it means since we always hear about it in the media.

Champagne!!

For Christmas we bought a bottle of champagne and a small bottle of "Creme de Cassis" which is a Blackcurrant liqueur. See the picture below.

The Creme de Cassis is used like a "syrup" that you mix to the champagne, the result is called a "Kir Royal" but be careful, this syrup is 20% alcohol!
We also got some flutes to drink the champagne because it is the Glass made for it.
I would definitely recommend the Kir Royal for big occasions or if you wish to impress your guests.

And why not a nice Watch?

Hi mates!
My husband would really like to have a very nice watch, but they are so expensive! He wants the one that does not need batteries and impossible to scratch with Sapphire Crystal glass. So off course I browsed the web to find some of those for a very good price, and that's by doing this that I found this website about jewelry watches. See by yourself this picture:

This is an Omega and on thewatchery.com the have discounts up to 80% on their luxury watches and sometimes up to 90% on their clearances, and off course don't forget their deal of the day, it really worth it! Last time I checked they had a Movado for $149!!! Over $1,200 saving!! I was so tempted...
With the Free Shipping (for orders over $100) they propose some real good deals. Their selection is very interesting and for all type of prices, up to several thousand of dollars. And of you order now, you will receive before Christmas! So if you're planning on offering a watch, you definitely have to check thewatchery.com.
I always thought that a nice watch was the best type a jewelry to offer because it is very visible to others and it's practical, that's why men prefer this as any other jewelry.

Cheers!

10 Habits of a Happy Woman

We live in a time where the search for happiness consumes almost all of our time. Try this habits and be a happy woman!!!!

1. Maintain your hormonal balance. Are you moody, exhausted, irritable - anything but happy? Check your hormones. If they're out of whack, then you're less likely to be happy. Make sure you're getting enough protein and vitamins, and decrease your refined sugars and carbohydrates. Also, make sure you eat foods that improve your mood and take vitamins for women.

2. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. This website for women is all about not obsessing or feeling guilty about your past choices or failures is ineffective and unhealthy. Learning to forgive yourself for your mistakes and letting go of the past is a habit that will make you a healthy woman.

3. Connect with who you are. Being a daughter, wife, or mother is one aspect of your life. It doesn't define who you are as a woman. To connect with who you are, take time to connect with your authentic self. The more authentic you are, the more appealing you'll be to others. A healthy woman lives a healthy life.

4. Spend time with people you connect with. Do you feel drained or sad after spending time with a particular friend, coworker, or relative? Limit the time you spend with them. Note how you feel after visiting with particular people; if you feel energized and happy, then they're a good match. This website for women is about respecting yourself and living a healthy life.

5. Speak kindly to yourself. If you beat yourself up for being overweight, a bad mom, or not exercising enough, you just create a downward spiral. A great habit of healthy women is to remind yourself of your achievements and successes. Refuse to say anything negative to yourself that you wouldn't say to your best friend. Being kind to yourself is almost as good as vitamins for women!

6. Listen to your body. I heard Oprah Winfrey say this about 10 years ago: listen to what your body is telling you. Are you emotionally hungry or physically hungry? Feed yourself properly. Are you sad, furious, or depressed? Taking care of yourself is a habit that will make you a healthy woman.

7. Volunteer your time. Find something that takes you out of your comfort zone or that you love to do. You'll feel great that you're helping others out - and volunteering directly improves your physical health. This website for women can encourage you to step out of your comfort zone by taking risks and trying new things.

8. Let go of perfectionism. Strive to do your best, but let go of perfectionist tendencies. Accepting that you're doing the best you can is a habit that will make you a happy women. Letting go of perfectionism is like a vitamin for a woman, and will lead to a healthy life.

9. Use your core strengths. Are you a natural mathematician, writer, or party planner? Discover your core strengths by trying different things until you find what fits. To try new things, take short-term volunteer positions or volunteer for new projects at work or in your community. Healthy women polish their skills and practice their talents.

10. Take time for yourself. This habit for happy women is one I couldn't live without: take time to recharge your batteries and refuel your emotional, spiritual, and physical energy. Spend at least a few minutes alone each day - even if you have to lock yourself in the bathroom to do it! When you're taking time for yourself, find other websites for women. They'll help you lead a healthy life.

A steady income when you retire

Hi mates!
This post is addressed to my readers who are 62 years old and older, but you're under this age you may still read it as I found this very interesting myself. This is about reverse mortgages or how can turn your home equity into a fixed income when you retire. If one is not planning to his or her home to his or her heirs this system could turn out to be quite interesting.
Basically, once you have reviewed the reverse mortgage process with a HUD (Housing and Urban Development) approved counselor your home will be approved based on its value on the market and how much you still owe on the house, if it applies. Then sum of money is proposed to you that you may take as a lump sum or as a monthly payment. You may click on this link to find more information, Reverse Mortgage Benefits.
Also another interesting fact is that it has nothing to do with your credit score and can represent Tax free money. If you want more detail, reverse mortgage California can provide you advices from HUD approved consultants and can walk through the whole process. Again you must be 62 years old or older.
That's all folks! I heard about reverse mortgages before and I thought I should share this with you, even if you're to young to be concerned, it's still good to know.

Cheers!

True friends are hard to find....

Moving to different countries is really hard....especially when it comes to make new friends.....I met a lot of friends here in Houston but I don't know if they consider me as their friend. Just hoping they do....hehe
True friendship involves relationship. Many people say, "Oh, she's a good friend of mine," yet they never take time to spend time with that "good friend." Friendship takes time....time to get to know each other, time to build shared memories, time to invest in each other's growth. Failing to be trustworthy with those intimate secrets can destroy a friendship in a hurry. Faithfulness and loyalty are key to true friendship. Without them, we often feel betrayed, left out, and lonely. In true friendship, there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts, no turning away.
Real friends encourage one another and forgive one another where there has been an offense. Yes, It's hard to forgive, believe me. I've been there, knowing that they have hurt you. Good thing I was able to forgive... and of course trying to forget.
Why am I writing this? hmmm...because I'm tired of meeting fake friends here in the U.S.... :(

Know better what you have!

Ho mates!

Visit this link: http://www.acobay.com/stuff/8839.

acobay helps people who own or use same products, or visited the same places network each other. As you may have noticed if you clicked on the link above, I shared on their website one if the place I visited before.
I guess the more people share about what they own and tell their opinion the more statistic they can compile in order to provide ratings on pretty much anything you want. I think it's pretty smart because if you wish to purchase something you want to read the review from the people who have owned the device for a while instead of those review from magazine which most of the time are biased.

I think it's really useful for electronic stuffs since the technology changes all the time.
You might say that the site is quite new and would need some improvement but just give it some time and it will be a good resource of advices. This one of the reason why the site looks so simple but you don't loose anything trying? They have so many different categories so may find review on pretty much anything, some users even explain how the device operates.

Tired and Sleepy again!

Last night we attended the birthday celebration of my friend. We had fun with a lot of singing and dancing hehe... The party ended up not so late as I was expecting. I met new filipina friends last night and it was really nice to meet them, especially here in the U.S :)
This morning I woke up really tired, sleepy and lazy but I really needed to get up because my husband and daughter were waiting for me! Meaning....I was really forced to wake up!huhu
I feel like my weekend was not really relaxing because most of the time we're out. Tonight, we will watch wowowee together with my friends! I'm tired but I'm excited to watch this game show because usually, I only watch it on TV. I'm worried though because my daughter is coming with us and we don't know if babies are allowed to go inside. Well...let's try and see...:)
That's it for today pals....have a nice day to all of you!

Good clothes for the winter

Hi mates!

It's getting cold! Even in Texas, but unfortunately I have very few clothes to wear for that type of weather..Especially coats, I find those too bulky and hard to wash because most of them don't go in the washing machine. So I was surfing the web and found this brand, Ogie Kanogie. They have some very nice clothes, especially the coats, they seem so light and convenient! And guess what, that's designed by women for women and it is Free shipping!. Take a look at this picture, this coat is so stylish and it feels like you could wear this anywhere, any season. Girls! This post is for you, remember when you were freezing in that restaurant...if you had one of those you'd feel much better isn't it? Last point, you can sit down with your coat on with no problem..

What's An Ogie Kanogie?

Buying Clothes in a Tough Economy
While it seems everyone has put frivolous purchases on hold, two moms have launched a new business that
comes just at the right time for thinner pocketbooks.
OgieKanogie.com is a new line of women's clothing that's hitting the market with an impressive collection of
14 coat styles.

The Ogie Difference
Affordability: $130-$260 with online promo codes available for a percentage off.
Versatility: Take 'em out on the town or out on the bleacher seats.
Machine Wash-Say NO to dry cleaning!
Quality: Made in the USA.
The Feel: Most styles are so super-soft you'll want to wear them 24/7.
Stylish: Compliments will abound.

So...What's an Ogie?
Ogie Kanogie owners Jamie Hormel and Massiel Bueno spent the last couple of years designing coats and
jackets that would fit their busy lifestyles. The two moms-friends since childhood-included their kids every
step of the way, gathering their input on styles, fit, fabrics and even the company name.

Between living in San Diego and the desert of Arizona, the group knows well the
bone chilling evenings and the cool overcast mornings by the shore. They got tired of freezing in restaurants,
feeling like icebergs in movie theaters and visiting indoor malls set at subzero temperatures.

The idea was to create the perfect line of coats and jackets. They had to be soft and exceedingly
comfortable. They wanted to be able to wear them anywhere-sitting in the sand, on the grass or in the
bleacher seats. Yet, the coats had to look great on the college campus, in the countryside or in the greatest
cities of the world. In other words, Ogies had to be machine washable, durable, versatile and great looking.

Ogie Owners Consider Economy & Unemployment
Jamie and Massiel also wanted their products to be reasonably priced, so everyone could have the perfect
Ogie for any occasion, all year long. Among all of their priorities, Jamie and Massiel thought it important to
have Ogies made in the USA, doing their part to help keep jobs here. Every Ogie pattern is cut and sewn in
Los Angeles, California. Jamie and Massiel are proud to offer superior quality at reasonable prices in today's
market.

Next up:
Ogie Hoodie Dresses are coming soon!

Massiel Bueno is a mother of two and resides in Los Angeles, CA. When she's
not working you can usually find her surfing.

Jamie Hormel is a mother of three kids, five dogs, a pot bellied pig, two miniature goats, and some horses.
She lives in Phoenix, Arizon

HO...HO...HO....

hello world! I'm still around :)

Been doing a lot of shopping this days...hehe my husband got 4 days off work last week and we were so happy because we had plenty of time for us. It was hard when he went back to work because we were getting used to be together and with Pauline all the time. He was so lazy to go back to work yesterday which I fully understand.

Oh btw, we got a tree lastnight for Chrstmas and it feels so good to be surrounded by a live Christmas tree. I was so excited to choose the right tree for us, my husband let me choose the tree that I liked and got it! before we arrived home I realized that my Christmas tree blings was not enough so we decided to get some at the store nearby.
So, when we got home I decorated my Christmas tree right away!hahaha
Here ya go....

Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving is the holiday of peace, the celebration of work and the simple life... a true folk-festival that speaks the poetry of the turn of the seasons, the beauty of seedtime and harvest, the ripe product of the year - and the deep, deep connection of all these things with God.
Happy thanksgiving to everyone......

Born to be wild!

Hi mates! My husband wishes he could ride a motorcycle but he doesn't have the license. He would like to get one and customize it its way. I would like him to put some saddlebags on his future bike, because for me the main drawback of a motorcycle is that you can't carry anything else than yourself and a backpack around.

Philippines best cities to live in!

I'm so proud of my beloved city...Davao! :) It's the number one on the top performing cities list.

Makati, Cabanatuan, Tagbilaran are RP's best cities to live in
By CARMELA FONBUENA
abs-cbnNEWS.com/Newsbreak

Among the best cities in the Philippines, Makati City, Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija, and Tagbilaran City in Bohol offer the best quality of life, according to a new survey of the Asian Institute Management (AIM).

These three cities ranked highest in the quality of life category among 25 cities that made it to the AIM’s Philippine Cities Competitiveness Ranking Project 2007, a survey of cities’ global competitiveness.

The cities were separately ranked according to size. Makati, Cabanatuan, and Tagbilaran were categorized as metro, mid-sized and small-sized, respectively.

Quality of life is one of six categories in AIM’s survey. The other categories are cost of doing business, dynamism of local economy, human resources and training, infrastructure, and responsiveness of local government units (LGUs) to business needs.

Unlike its previous surveys, AIM decided not to rank the cities based on total performance.

This is the 5th round of the AIM survey on Philippine Cities Competitiveness Ranking.

Quality of life is considered one of the yardsticks in determining which cities have successfully developed and which have succumbed to the ills of urbanization.

Among the relevant aspects of quality of life are social welfare of the people, peace, and order, quality of living environment, and local amenities.

Cabanatuan and Tagbilaran ranked first in their respective city sizes, rating 7.17 and 7.97, respectively. The highest rating is 10 points. The average rating in their city sizes is 6.31 and 6.43, respectively.

Makati ranked second among metro cities, with a rating of 6.98. The average rating of metro cities in terms of quality of life is 6.06.

Cabanatuan was credited for its good access to commercial banks, low or non-existent informal fees, and total crime solution efficiency.

Tagbilaran was noted for its low or non-existent informal fees, good supply of water, and low water rates. Its local environmental planning and management program was also praised.

Makati was recognized for its good access to commercial banks, total crime solution efficiency, and supply of potable water among others. AIM also noted its programs such as the Makati Health Program, the “Yellow Card,” the Makati Command Center, and its Satellite Real Property Tax collection.

A total of 90 cities were surveys—20 metro cities, 25 mid-sized cities, and 45 small-sized cities. The AIM survey was conducted in collaboration with the German Technical Cooperation, International Finance Corporation, International Labour Organization, SM Investments Inc., and Petron Corporation.

The following is the complete list of the top performing cities.

Lavrenti Lopes the next Al Pacino?

Have you guys ever seen this actor? Lavrenti Lopes is originally from India, used to be a model and is now focusing on his movie carreer. You may have seen him on Youtube for some TATA's commercial. His Official Website will let you know everything about him. His latest movie, which will be released in April 09, is called "Subhysteria". The plot seems quite interesting; sixteen people get stuck in a subway car in NYC for 36 hours, without communication, food, way to escape, and a fatal sensation that they are going to die. A raw display of human behavior when one confronts the possibility of death. You may want to youtube the title.

Saturday shopping!

Yesterday my husband and I were so bored and really wanted to go out. We were hesitating to go out because the weather was really cold and my daughter is still sick. I called my friend and found out that she wanted to go out too because her husband left to attend a party. To make the story short, we picked her up and we went to woodlands. My husband went to watch a movie while my friend and I were enjoying the shopping haha! We didn't have much time to shop because we arrived late and the stores close at 9 but most of them closed earlier. But, still we enjoyed our shopping moment yesterday and I got new stuff for myself(unfair)ahahha!
Anyway, I'm hoping to go shop next weekend AGAIN.... :P

Have a great day!

Tune in with Nat and Alex

Hi mates!
Do you guys know about the Naked Brother Band? Maybe your kids do..The Naked Brother Band (they always keep their clothes on)is part documentary and part rock-mockumentary musical comedy series that brought Nickelodeon's highest-rated premiere in seven years. They already released 2 Cd's and are about to go on tour this fall! Personally I prefer them than a certain A.M..I don't want to say any name. Tune in this Saturday at 7pm (eastern time) for their Operation Mojo which will air on Nick at 8:00 pm eastern. Basically the plot is that Nat has lost his Mojo and needs to get it back, Alex has planned to help him get it back, I really hope he'll get it back. I like them because for a while I thought that live music was dying and those kids proved me wrong, they can sing and play their music live! To me they don't look like those made up commercial family band, of course they're cute and all but still I have to recognize that they rock! So Naked Brother Band's fan tune in this Saturday for Operation Mojo and then watch it later on Nick with your kids....have fun ya all!

Laid-back Doers!

Laid-back Doers are friendly, happy persons. They enjoy being together with other people. Smart, eloquent, witty and charming, they like to be the centre of attraction. They do not like to be alone. Their zest for life ensures that others feel well in their company and that they quickly get to know people. Laid-back Doers get the best out of every moment - many people of this type have a gift for making their whole life one big party. Boredom is unknown in their presence because they are very good at carrying others away with their enthusiasm, their good mood and their optimism.

Abstract thinking and profound philosophising about the meaning of life appeal less to Laid-back Doers. They are pragmatic, realistic and live completely in the here and now. At work too, they prefer it when it’s all go and they can act out their purposeful manner to the full. They have no problem handling several tasks at once and they blossom out in crisis situations! A varied field of activity with a lot of social contacts is just the right thing for them. One will also seldom find them inactive in their spare time; due to their open, curious nature, they mostly have many hobbies and interests. They are not afraid of the unknown: as they are flexible and creative, they quickly adjust to new situations and make the best of them. They sometimes come into conflict with strict rules or hierarchies by which they quickly feel constrained and against which they rebel.

As friends, Laid-back Doers are generous, helpful persons who attach great importance to harmonious relationships and a good atmosphere. Their sociable manner means that they have a large circle of friends and they love having the house full of many different types of guests. They are happy to give in to their spontaneous moods and fancies in the just one or two important things. This makes them appear somewhat unpredictable to those with a quieter nature. When it really matters, you can rely on them one hundred percent. As partners, they are creative, impetuous and imaginative - as long as their partner knows how to fascinate them. They can hardly stand boredom or routine in a relationship. They do not like conflicts at all; if a relationship becomes too strenuous or involves too much effort, they tend to withdraw from the partnership and start to look for a new partner. However, if one manages to keep their curiosity alive in the long term and surprise them again and again, one has a loyal and loving partner.

Hmmmm... This describes more my personality....hehe

Goodnight everyone....

What about a game for Christmas?!

Kids are used to get everything they want from Santa. Now, you can introduce your kids to this game, Princess Bride, based on the classic hit movie.
Princess Bride is included in a PC/MAC game pack consisting of 5 games, it's more like five games in one! Princess Bride Game will let them interact with a cast of their favorite characters from the film. This game will make the perfect gift for this holiday season.
I'm sure that the kids will be thrilled to get that game, I remember the movie, I saw it when I was younger. It's a fairy tale about a beautiful girl who is to be married to a nasty prince, but who is in love with another. I think this game would be better for girls but the pack proposes games for all kinds of tastes.
The game is widely available, in all major retail store and ofcourse online. The game is clever and full of adventure, for once you're not in space shooting some aliens. With this one you'll be able to relax with your kids and enjoy some family time. It is very fun and the narrative story is extremely addictive. Have fun storming the castle!

Divorce, Isn't the answer!

The divorce rate has risen immensely in the past century, and sometimes I wonder why. What happened to those days? What happened to the idea of "for better or for worse?"
Life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook. And you might be surprised to find out that my husband isn't the perfect husband! He likes to play his music too loud but somehow my husband and I have learned to accept the imperfections in each other. Over time, we have stopped trying to make each other in our own mold and have learned to celebrate our differences. You might say that we've learned to love each other for who we really are!

People may want out of their marriages but they want to be OK, too! If you and your partner have hit a rocky patch, try talking things trough (calmly) or consider checking it with your counselor. You can find one at National Institute of Marriage. Their team of marriage counselors has a wide variety of training and experience but are all dedicated to one single passion, saving marriages and making an eternal difference in the lives of people. National Institute of Marriage is there to help couples in creating a healthy, growing, and lasting marriage.

Sleepy mommy -_-

I'm so tired and sleepy today....I didn't get enough sleep lastnight becasue my daughter is sick. Usually, when she's not feeling well we keep her in our bed at night to make sure that she's fine. I gave her tylenol(fever reducer) because she has a slight temperature, I hope she'll be fine. It's really hard if your little ones get sick, especially infants.

iLASIK, NASA approved!!

Have you guys heard about the LASIK procedure? I'm sure you did on TV or from the radio. For those who haven't, it's basically for people wearing eye glasses who want the eyes of their youth back. It reshapes your eye using a laser based technology, LASIK information is now widely spread, safe and quick.
iLASIK is the next generation of LASIK, the military personnel and the NASA have qualified this procedure for their pilots and even for their astronauts. Their high profile missions require them to have a perfect vision, and of course after investing a considerable amount of dollars in training them they will want to use the most reliable and safe procedure there could be, and the NASA chose iLASIK.
The US military went through a thorough qualification process to prove that iLASIK was reliable and without secondary effects. 95% of the subjects involved in this study recovered a 20/20 on each eye without correction (without glasses). One of the great inovation of the LASIK technology is that during the first step of the treatment a first laser beam will "scan" your eye in order to numerize the characteristics of one's eye. Indeed everyone's eye is unique.

Good job friendster!

Yesterday I was so pissed because my friendslist in friendster was gone and I don't have any idea how it happened. Then, my friend told me that she had same issue on her friendster, so I assumed that everybody was experiencing the same thing.

This afternoon I opened my friendster and noticed that all my friends were back on my list. Well done friendster because they made it up!

Food Drive

Hi guys!
Here is an example that I think all major companies should follow. In those time of crisis and almost recession Cydcor invited its employees to participate in a pre-holiday food drive. I think it's important to help the people in need when you can do it, companies like Cydcor is showing the way.

When I was working at the restaurant my colleague told me this tip, that if you want to slice a cheesecake without it falling apart or having the cheesecake bits stick to the knife, immerse first the knife in hot or warm water. The higher temperature of the knife after warming it up somehow "melts" the cheesecake, thereby ensuring a smoother slice.

In some restos, they retrieve the knife or the slicer from a container with warm water, so this practice must have been around for quite some time. I'm not quite sure though if this is applicable in other types of cakes.

Life in Digital

We all live in a digital era (not in a Yellow Submarine....) and most of us have had an Internet connection for a while, but in my opinion we are only using 10% of the opportunities that the Internet can offer. But what provider can you use? There are so many. What speed do you need?
Internet Services will help you compare the different providers and the different services they can offer. It also has some very cool articles about networking, security file sharing...and it's very easy to read. It will help you to get the most of your connection and keep you updated with the latest technology. Check it out!

The Australian Pink Floyd in Houston>2008

We managed to watch the Aussie Floyd concert, my friend Madel babysat my daughter. I'm so thankful that she was free to babysit Pauline aside from watching her two kids. Anyway, the concert was cool! They really played like Pink floyd and it amazed me so much! I never thought they could play that good!
They played the whole The Wall album, with all the noises and voices! They took a break in the middle, at the same moment you would need to change from CD1 to CD2. They had a screen in their back, they were projecting images from The Wall the movie as well as some original things of theirs.

Here's some pictures that I took during the concert!!!!

Getting out of it!

Do you believe that too much is not good?

Most of the time people under addiction are in fact deep down crying for help. It's against their will that they enter this vicious circle. Alcohol and Drug Recovery is the equivalent of a normal hospital for a plague that is not recognize as a desease. In this place patient care, staff availability and of course a big dose of listening are their main way of cure.

Cheese!Cheese!Cheese!

Last Saturday we went to a wine bar nearby with my husband and sister in law. I had a glass of wine and my husband got a beer but the strong one. Ellen is not allowed to drink because she's minor, though I managed to share my glass with her.haha! I'm kinda bad influence to her.lol! Then, my husband ordered a plate with different kind of cheese. They amazed me because they can eat it like chocolate despite of the strong taste of the real cheese...lol! I like cheese but I'm talking about the kind of cheese that I'm used to eat in the Philippines which is so mild compared to those cheese that are made in france. At the beginning, I couldn't really take the strong taste of those cheese and it's kinda bizaare for me but lately I kinda like it, especially the Brie! I just realized that the cheese that I used to like was not the real one or can't be called cheese, I'm glad that my husband introduced me to the world of what we call Cheese!!!!

In business, the appearances count...

Whenever you have to present something, have an interview for a job or an important meeting, it is important to have an impeccable appearance. We often hear the expression "dressed to impress" and laugh about it, but at the end of the day, the people appraising you will sure be influenced by the way you dress.

My husband often has to wear suits and he has several ones, unfortunately they go out of fashion very fast or he cannot wear them anymore. Then comes the time where we have to purchase a suit, and of course there is nothing better than custom made suits. Made to measure is suits are very expensive and it's not always easy to find a good tailor. Made to Measure is an online suit master; just take an appointment to take your measures for free in one of their select location then select the style and the design, after a quick wait you'll get you brand new custom made suit for an excellent price.

Furthermore, Made to Measure will remember your measures for future order. Check them out and you'll see that their prices are very attracting, it's a tailored suit for a off the rack price.

Illusion!!!!

This is not a test - just a phenomenon. All readings are explained.

Read out loud the text inside the triangle below. More than likely you said, 'A bird in the bush,'! And. .......
If this IS what YOU said, then you failed to see
That the word THE is repeated twice!
Sorry, look again.

Next, let's play with some words.
What do you see?

In black you can read the word GOOD, in white the word EVIL (inside each black letter is a white letter). It's all very physiological too, because it visualize the concept that good can't exist without evil (or the absence of good is evil). Now, what do you see?

You may not see it at first, but the white spaces read the word optical, the blue landscape reads the word illusion. Look again! Can you see why this painting is called an optical illusion?

What do you see here?

You probably read the word ME in brown, but........
When you look through ME you will see YOU!

Last one.
What do you see?

This one is quite tricky!
The word TEACH reflects as LEARN.

More Brain Stuff . . .

Olny srmat poelpe can raed this.

Lazy Tuesday....

My sister in-law left to france yesterday....

I am so lazy and sleepy today because I didn't get enough sleep last night because my daughter was running a slight temperature. I just hope to get a nap today when she'll fall asleep....I need to do a lot of cleaning in the house too...sigh....

When times like this I really wish that my family is just one block away from my house to help me. It's already lunchtime but I don't know if I will eat because I'm so lazy to cook for myself.

Nyway, that's it for now folks!

Have a nice day to all!!!

Black Friday Shopping!

I have good news for you shoppers!

It is known that shopping the day after thanksgiving or Black Friday is really good because you can save your money. Most of the stores have good deals and people stand in line at the stores early like at 3 am but now not anymore! For instance in walmart ad you'll find everything you need, all from your computer at home. It is really convenient because you don't need to drive all over town early in the morning to be able to  get the good deals at your favorite stores.

Just like me who would like to get a new GPS for my car and I was thinking to check out Circuit City. Also, I want to buy some clothes and more because I'm planning  to send something for my family in Philippines this Christmas. You can also purchase items online in this site and they offers email alerts to let you know when new black Friday ads have been posted.

You may want to check this site on Thursday after you ate your turkey. Anyway, you will be so full that browsing the web will be the only thing you'll be able to do apart from watching the game on TV!

Hi friends....

Been busy this days because my sister in-law is here and don't have much time to play the computer because most of the time I go out with her to shop. She likes to go shopping here in Houston because she can get much stuff that she can't find in France. I enjoyed shopping with her because we have the same favorite stores and brands. :)

But, when I got home I'm so lazy to do my chores because I'm so tired and all I want is go to bed. Well, I just realized that shopping is fun but if you do it everyday it's tiring too...haha!

I guess I will sleep now because I really had enough for today.......nytnyt -_-zzzzzzzzzz!!!!!

Smart Solution:Sweet Pickles!

Hello Mommies and Daddies!

Well, babies love being carried right? It might be the motion itself which is soothing to them. My daughter has gotten used to being carried around all day and cries if we put her down. The good news is, this is most likely a phase. In the meantime, I am using a baby carrier and have my hands free while holding her.

A baby carrier is really helpful and has a lot of advantages. Sweet-Pickles.com is your online store that provides exclusive and unique carriers as well as Woven, Stretchy and Gauze wraps, Mei Tais , Pouches , Ring Slings , Soft Structured Carriers , Babywearing Coats  and Comfortable Leggings. Mei Tais is my favorite among the selection of baby carrier in Sweet-Pickles.com because it's like perfectly made for us.

My husband is going for an audition!!!

My husband found a music band who needs a lead guitarist and I encouraged him to try out the audition because I know that he is just waiting for my signal to say Yes! haha

Anyway, he came home early today to do some practice which was good and before he started doing his business I asked him to drop me and our daughter at the mall and by the time he would be done practicing, he'd picked us up....it was cool!

That's it for today folks! I hope that the band that he's gonna audition for will accept him with no prob! Good luck my Love!!!!

Ciao!

A gadget of Wisdom!

There are and there was so many wise persons on earth, people who were gifted from birth and could analyze and understand mother natures like never before! This how our civilization evolved to where we are now. I know...many will say that science and technology caused lots of trouble to humanity but this is another topic.

I like to learn from others and read about the great people of our history like Descartes, Newton, Goethe, Shakespeare, Galileo, Plato and other great scientists and philosophers. I use to have books of quotes from those people but it would stay on the shelve like a dust trap even though I really find those quotes very inspiring. The other day I came across this new gadget that can tell you those quote and motivating sentences, as if Gandhi (another great) was next to you. Life Learning Devices.com proposes a wide variety of those gadgets in several languages, you just have to press it to spread the wisdom around it.

I think that's great for the kids too, Life Learning Devices.com had a great idea! And by the way, this gadget looks quite nice, a little bit like a crystal ball. Check this out; how about you wake up in the morning and then while drinking your favorite drink (for me it's coffee) you press the device and you hear: "Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress"...How about that!! By the way, this is a quote from the Mahatma Gandhi. I think this is really inspiring to hear because it's so true.

Again, we all have those small calendars about famous places in the world or sports, I think this is nicer and much more interactive. I think we should never forget what the greats of our world said and this gadget will keep on nourishing your mind every day.

A life without complain

If you think you are unhappy, look at them.....

If you think you don't have many friends...

If you think study is a burden, how about her?

When you feel like giving up, think of this man

If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does?

If you complain about your transport system, how about them?

If you think your salary is low, how about her?

Enjoy life how it is and as it comes
Things are worse for others and is a lot better for us....
